All my best friends live in Plymouth but I don't get to see them enough it makes me so down and some times I cry myself to sleep. I live so far away. What can I do, I'm going to apply to Plymouth Uni but that's in a year

Dear Joey,

It's always hard to have friends that live far away from you. Why don't you try and make some friends from around the area you live in? At least by doing this you won't feel so lonely and it will take your mind off the fact that your best friends all live far away. It's never easy making new friends, but if you try, I'm sure you'll be able to do it. A year will pass quickly if you have company, you won't keep counting the days, and very soon you'll be with your best friends. All the best with making some new friends. I'm sure there are people who live around you who would be glad to have a friend like you.
