Baked Meatballs

This is an old favourite of ours, I first had this one while I was in primary school and is one that I like to whip up every now and again.

What you'll need:

Breadcrumbs - 75g
Fresh Milk - 50ml
Minced beef - 450g
Eggs - 3 (beaten)
Fresh parsley - 3 tablespoons (chopped)
Cheddar cheese - 50g
Tomato pasta sauce - about 250g

What to do:

Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF, soak the breadcrumbs with milk, then add the beef, using hands to mix well. Add the remaining ingredients except the pasta sauce to this mix. Shape into balls don't worry about the size, you can choose that and brown in a frying pan. Spoon into an oven-proof dish. Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs, cover and bake for about 30minutes, removing the cover for the last 10minutes of cooking. Once baked to taste, place on a plate and generously pour the sauce over the balls. I would advise serving it with some pasta (tagliatelli is best).
