Yet again a fine start by Dagenham & Redbridge saw them take an early lead through a fine finish by Kieran Courtney. Both teams then produced some excellent attacking football with chances being made at both ends. Aztec equalised halfway through the first half and were all square at the break. The second half saw the attacking spirit continue as the game swung from end to end with many last ditch tackles and saves being made. As the game seemed to be heading for a stalemate, Paul O'Driscoll broke the deadlock and then with minutes remaining Billy Carr scored his first goal of the season with a well struck free-kick from the edge of the box to secure the points.
