After taken an early lead through Harry Short, Dagenham were forced to defend for long periods in this game and maybe suffered from the efforts of the previous day's game. Buckhurst Hill equalised minutes later and went on to lead 3-1 at half time. The second half was much the same as the second with Daggers finding themselves 5-1 down. A late rally saw Harry Short add a second consolation goal.
