Daggers were strangely subdued in their first ever-midweek match. Buckhurst Hill took an early lead through a hotly disputed goal, which Dagenham claimed had not crossed the line. This seemed to affect the boys as they failed to create any worthwhile chances and conceded twice more in the first half as Bucks long ball game dominated. Daggers fared better in the second half as they found their passing game again and finally began to carve out openings. Once again a failure to take their chances proved costly as Buckhurst Hill scored their fourth goal of the game to wrap up a comprehensive win and put a dent in Daggers recent good run of form.
