In a very hard fought game Daggers recorded their first ever 0-0 scoreline. Sarvic were fired up for this game after two defeats in previous games and dominated the first quarter. However an excellent rearguard action saw Daggers restrict them to long range shots and then slowly come back into the game and were finallly getting on top in the game as the half-time whistle sounded. The second half saw Sarvic set-up camp in Dagenham's half, but fail to create a clear-cut chance until 10 minutes from the end when L.Gillham did well to take the sting out of a shot and D.Wiffin cleared the ball off of the line. Following this scare Dagenham finally broke out and managed to force three consecutive corners late on. Daggers play their final match of the season on Saturday 12/05/2001 against Barn Sports, ko 10:30 at Eastbrook Comprehensive School.
