A snowy scene greeted Daggers as they made the short trip to Brittons School for this Echo League game. Thanks to the hard work of parents from both sides to sweep the lines clear of snow the game was eventually given the go-ahead by the referee. Dagenham made a dream start when after just two minutes P.O'Driscoll put them one up with a good finish from a R.Leigh cross. They then seemed to switch off and UPR began to take control and it was no surprise when they equalised midway through the first half. This acted as a wake up call and after chances at both ends Daggers regained the lead with a well-taken J.Pomper goal and added to that shortly before the break with Pomper again the scorer. The second half saw Daggers at their best as they played an excellent passing game and virtually "camped" in the UPR half. Despite going close on numerous occasions and twice hitting the woodwork Dagenham added just one further goal scored again by O'Driscoll. This was Dagenham's first league win of the season (in 6 attempts) and has seen them jump up 2 places in the league.
