The Daggers continued their impressive run of wins after doing the double over Scarborough. The Daggers were unchanged from Saturday's game.

The start of the game saw several free-kicks to the Daggers as Scarborough tried to assert themselves. After 9 minutes, one of those free-kicks was floated in by Jason Broom and Lee Goodwin directed his downward header past the goalkeeper and into the net.

Scarborough then started to push the Dagegrs back and had a long period of pressure but without having any shots or chances. The closest they came was several cleared corners.

As Scarborough pushed forward, the Daggers could have added to their lead. Danny Shipp had a shot from the edge of the box that was diverted into the keeper's arms by the hand of a defender in the box, but the referee decided it hit his thigh.

Matt Jones, an early substitute for Janney, had a great shot that forced a great save. He received the ball 30 yards out and smashed a swerving low drive that the keeper did well to hold onto.

The rest of the half was spent with Boro defender Ellender kicking lumps out of Shipp and despite giving away several free kicks he was not punished further.

The second half was a bit more lively and the Daggers had a few good efforts on goal as did Scarborough. The first chance fell to Boro when Roberts did well to push a low shot over the bar.

Danny Shipp had a good effort when he controlled on his thigh on the edge of the box and volleyed goalwards but it went well over.

Tony Roberts was forced into an excellent save at the other end. He dived to his left and pushed a long-range drive over the bar as it threatened to dip under the bar.

Opara had two good chances for the Daggers though which he wasted. The first was when he picked the ball up and hit a low drive from 20 yards which went well wide, when a simple pass would have put Shipp through on goal.

The second was created by Broom, when he hit a right foot volley which the keeper charged down, and Opara seemed suprised as it hit him on the head 6 yards out, with the goal gaping, and went just wide.
