The Daggers contrived to pull back a three goal deficit in this game to produce their second four-all draw of the season. Mark Janney was back in the team after injury, and Tony Lock was preferred to Shipp up front with McDougald. Goodwin played in the centre of defence in the absence of Matthews and Wignall with Rooney playing at right back.

The Daggers started very well and could have taken the lead early on when McDougald hit a shot on the turn which was unfortunately straight at the keeper.

There was almost an own-goal soon after, when a Woking defender tried to pass the ball back to his keeper, who was on the penalty spot, but gave it too much power and it looked like a goal until the keeper Matassa got back to clear with a diving save.

The warning signs were there though, when Sharpling went through only for his shot to be well saved by Roberts when one-on-one.

Despite early pressure, the Daggers found themselves behind after a free kick was given away on the side of the box. The ball was drifted in and headed home by Hayfield.

This was the start of a mad period before half time. Woking set about scoring goals two and three very soon after. The second came when Roberts came out of his goal to kick a clearance, and only managed to kick the ball against a forward, and the ball rebounded very kindly for Griffin to score in the empty net.

The third came when Goodwin was rounded easily by Sharpling who was then left unchallenged to slot in from an acute angle.

However, the Daggers got the goal they had deserved earlier on soon after, when Lock chased a long ball and shrugged off the defender to lob the ball over the advancing keeper.

The Daggers then scored again, only for it to be given offside. A free kick was put into the far post and Cole delicately headed over the keeper but a questionable offside was given.

Despite the 3-1 scorline at half-time, the Daggers were far from beaten. They got back in it when a cross found Hayzelden at the far post who beat his defender excellently and powered the ball in at the near post.

Paul Cobb made it even soon after. He found the space to cut in fom the left and shoot across the keeper into the far corner.

It looked like the comeback of all time may be on the Cards (sorry - bad joke), when Lee Goodwin met a partial clearance on the edge of the box and powered the ball through a crowded box into the corner of the goal.

However, Woking made sure they got a share of the points when Tim Cole hooked a clearance over his head, but the ball went up in the air. Although Roberts punched the loose ball clear, it was met on the edge of the box by Griffin, who slotted home to make it even.

D & R: Tony Roberts, Mark Rooney, Tim Cole, Lee Goodwin, Ashley Vickers, Mark Janney (Paul Cobb), Paul Terry, Steve Heffer, Danny Hayzelden (Matt Jones), Tony Lock, Junior McDougald (Danny Shipp). Subs not used: Mark Brennan, Steve Forbes.
