| Rodwell On Britain's Brainiest |

| New boy Jim Rodwell has filmed a quiz programme for ITV to find Britain's Brainiest Footballer. The programme follows a series of the programmes which have already included teachers, cab drivers and children. He joined Diamonds team-mate Barry Hunter on the programme. The full list of competitors is as follows: Malcolm MacDonald - former Newcastle, Arsenal and England player. Alan Brazil - former Ipswich, Manchester United and Scotland. George Cohen - former England player and member of the 1966 World Cup team. Iffy Onura - Gillingham FC. Adrian Coote - Colchester United and Northern Ireland. Lee Glover - Macclesfield Town and Scotland under 21s. Clarke Carlisle - QPR and England under 21s. Jim Rodwell - Rushden and Diamonds. Barry Hunter - Rushden and Diamonds. David Gregory - Colchester United. Andy Harris - Leyton Orient. Alan White - Colchester United. The show is to be screened on Wednesday January 30th on ITV at 8:00pm. |

| Jim Rodwell has signed for the Daggers on a months loan from Rushden & Diamonds. He signed for the Diamonds just before the 1995/6 season for £40,000 and was Players and Fans Player of the Year in 2000. He has made 11 appearances for them this year but has been kept out by Mark Peters and Barry Hunter for much of the season. |

| Ken Charlery travelled to Nottingham to give evidence on behalf of Steve Wignall and Barry Richardson after an alleged incident after a Boston v Doncaster match earlier in the season. A police complaint alleged that Wignall and Richardson had verbally abused the referee after the game, but both maintained that the comments were not directed at the referee. Charlery backed up the two ex-Doncaster men and both were cleared by the disciplinary commission. |

| Ken Charlery has won the Conference Top Goalscorer Award for the month of December. He netted 5 league goals, plus one in the LDV Trophy away at Bristol Rovers and another in the FA Cup against Luton. Ken will receive his award before an upcoming home game. |
| Hot Air Blowers |

| In addition to the pitch covers purchased earlier in the week, the club have also hired nine hot air blowers to assist with the thawing of the Daggers' pitch. |
| Fighting The Frost |

| The Daggers have invested £20,000 in bitumen covered hessian to cover the pitch prior to the Ipswich Town cup game on Saturday. This method is used by pro clubs and has already helped, with the pitch in a playable state as of Thursday afternoon. If the weather remains above freezing during Friday, the game is expected to be on. |
| Dozzell A Dagger? |

| TWTD.co.uk, an unofficial Ipswich site, is reporting that Jason Dozzell is about to sign for the Daggers. The ex-Ipswich midfielder took an insurance payout in August, after retiring with a toe injury. At the time he was a Colchester player. The site reports that he is in talks with Garry Hill and is expected to become a Dagger soon. |

| Garry Hill has agreed to become the club's first ever full-time manager after a meeting with the Chairman, subject to approval from the Committee. |
