The Daggers produced another fantastic display of attacking football as they became the only undefeated team in the league. A change in formation saw a more customary 4-4-2 with Matt Jones left back and Lock up the wing.

The Daggers started quite well, as home keeper Steve Perrin was forced into a block with his legs as Stein hit a powerful drive across goal which the keeper did well to stop.

The Daggers had another cleared off the line as they tried to open the scoring, and Mark Brennan hit a great curler with the outside of his left foot that threatened the top corner but was well held by Perrin.

Forest Green had few chances, their only shots coming from way out and going well wide. The Daggers finally got the goal from a free kick by Brennan, after Stein was tripped.

The keeper was still lining up his wall and the Daggers faked a back post routine which wrong footed Perrin, and Brennan stepped up with a left foot curler into the back of the net.

However, Forest Green were soon back in it although somewhat against the run of play. The defence went AWOL as Heggs was completely unmarked in the box and received a chipped pass before poking past the advancing Roberts.

The second half was when the Daggers took control though. They played superb football throughout, and as in previous games, could have had many more than they did.

Mark Stein soon put the Daggers back on top, as he was fed to right of the box and hit a powerful shot along the ground that went into the far corner past Perrin.

Danny Shipp had a great chance when he was unmarked at the back post and met a left wing cross, only to hit the ball into the ground and see it bounce up and over the bar.

Home keeper Perrin made a good save from a Paul Terry shot across goal that he tipped round the post as the Daggers pushed forward. Matt Jones had a vicious shot from inside the box held by the home keeper.

Danny Hayzelden nearly made a quick impression after entering the field, hitting a low shot that went just wide of the far post. Mark Brennan had the most audacious attempt as he tried to chip Perrin, who off his line, from all of 35 yards only to see the ball hit the bar and bounce clear.

The Daggers finally sealed it with a third, from the penalty spot. A right wing cross was blocked by the hand of a home defender and Steve McGavin, looking more impressive than in previous games, slotted home from the spot.

Forest Green came back into it slightly and had an effort hit the bar of Roberts' goal, but the Daggers soon made it four, some superb passing between Janney and Terry completely dismantling the defence and Stein was left unmarked 15 yards out to stroke home.

Forest Green got a late consolation goal from the penalty spot as Vickers was adjudged to have brought down Daley, and Heggs calmly slotted home.
