This was another poor game and another poor performance for the Daggers, although he point won saw them draw level at the top of the Conference with Boston. It was the same team that played against Farnborough.

The Daggers lacked any sort of ideas and played long ball despite the fact that it doesn't work. Stein had the Daggers best shot when he drove across goal and it went wide, but at the other end, Danny Shipp had to clear off the line.

Jones flashed a right foot volley just wide of the keeper's left hand post, and Smith had a header from a corner saved as the Daggers made some sort of effort to take the home advantage.

The second half saw Hayes take an early lead when a left wing cross was met by Molesley who was completely unmarked and headed into the net. The Daggers till failed to play and game continued to go into a long ball fest by both sides with no chances at either end.

Then the Daggers were handed a lifeline they didn't really deserve when Bossu made a clamatous error to give the Daggers a goal. A long ball had set McDougald one on one with a defender, but the keeper had come running out for the ball and as McDougald received it, he jumped on it, handling the ball and being sent off.

Jones smashed the resultant free kick goalwards and Terry deflected it past the goalkeeper who had previously been playing outfield. The Daggers then created loads of chances but failed to take them.

Charlery went through one-on-one and inexplicably lobbed into the keeper's arms as he came out to narrow the angle. The keeper also made a great save as Ken turned a cross goalwards. Vickers blasted miles over, Charlery weakly volleyed at the keeper as he was closed down, Jones had a shot charged down, Junior's effort was saved from a Shipp cross, but Stein missed the best chance of all.

With seconds remaining, Stein got the break as he found himself through on goal and only 8 yards out but he prodded his shot weakly at the keeper. Despite the fact that there should have been about 6 minutes of extra time, only four were signalled and only 2 were played, there is no excuse for this performance.
