The Daggers continued the fine form they found at Telford on Saturday, although several changes were enforced. Danny Hill, Mark Rooney and Lee Goodwin were all unavailable although Vickers returned after suspension. McGavin and Brennan were reinstated to the starting line-up.
The Daggers started well despite the ten minute delay at the start of the game and created several chances. Vickers had an over-head kick from a corner blocked by a defender as the Daggers took control.
Mark Janney hit a good shot after being fed by Shipp which was parried behind by the away keeper for a corner. Matt Jones beat two men and hit a good shot that went just over and McGavin should have done better when he got to the by-line, pulling back to a defender with time and space to pick his pass.
Danny Shipp hit a left foot volley at the keeper after chesting down a cross and then hit another shot high and wide into the training ground. The Daggers could not make the pressure tell and Woking were very lucky to find themselves one up just after the twenty minute mark.
A corner was left by all and Huckerby received it at his feet at the far post. He stepped inside and smashed the ball into the top corner from a couple of yards out.
The Daggers were not going to stop the pressure though and the Woking defence continued to crumble at every attack. Steve McGavin burst into the box to shoot towards the top corner which was well saved by Tucker, and eventually the goal came.
Some great passing ended in a brilliant cross from Janney which was met at the far post by Stein who easily headed into the back of the net from a couple of yards out.
This goal seemed to spur the Daggers on further as Shipp soon put the Daggers in front. Another good move resulted in Shipp hitting a great right foot shot from 20 yards that flew into the bottom corner of the net.
McGavin could have added a third but somehow hit the post when Janney pulled the ball back to him and he hit a shot from 6 yards, the rebound falling to Stein who shot well over from an acute angle.
Towards the end of the half, Woking actually managed a second attempt on goal which was well fielded by Roberts in the home goal.
The second half brought an early scare for the Daggers as Woking made a great start, Huckerby's lob from way out looking set for the top corner but Roberts made a superb one handed save to tip over.
From then on it was all Dagenham though. McGavin headed at the keeper and put another header wide when he was unmarked at a corner. Stein was put through and hit a left foot shot across goal from a difficult angle that was well saved by the keeper.
Mark Brennan had a long range effort through a crowded box fly just wide and a speculative volley soon after was well wide. Ashley Vickers followed suit with an awful left foot shot that went horribly wide of the goal.
The Daggers began to do one of their keep-ball sessions as they had done at Telford, stringing together many passes which ended in a Jones cross that was headed over from 6 yards by the unmarked Stein.
Mark Janney had the best chance as Danny Hayzelden beat a man and looked up, passing to the unmarked Janney who had a gaping net but somehow sidefooted over the top from 6 yards.
Tony Roberts had to make another save late on as Woking made a bit of a surge, but the Daggers came again and finally added a well-deserved third through Shipp.
Shipp was found by McGavin and he layed it off to Lock. Lock gave back to him again and he only had to round the keeper and slot home to score his third of the season.
