This was a fairly even game in which both sides had good chances and in which both sides had periods of domination. Tim Cole returned to the bench for the Daggers, and McGavin played in place of banned Janney.

Tony Roberts had to make a good save early on as the ball was left to run through to the keeper, but Ramsay nipped in. Roberts rushed out and diverted the ball wide with his leg.

Yeovil took the lead midway through the half. A cross from the left was met by Ramsay who had lost Goodwin, and although Roberts tried to come for it, Ramsay got there first and headed in.

Yeovil then hit the post. The ball was played down the right and as Roberts came out to smother, he was beaten to it and the ball was curled across and hit the outside of the far post.

Stein then almost netted with two good chances as the Daggers came back into it. The first came when he met the ball in the box and volleyed just wide, and the second came when he met a left wing cross and diverted it over as he lent back to reach it.

However, the Daggers were soon on level terms. Charlery chased a through ball and as he tried to round the onrushing keeper, he was bodychecked. The penalty was given but some how the keeper stayed on the field. McGavin netted the spot kick.

The Daggers also missed two headers from corners that went just wide, and Yeovil hit the post again. A corner was diverted off the top of Rooney's head and dipped to hit the underside of the bar before Broom headed clear also via the bar.

The second half also had lots of goal action, Yeovil showing their intentions straight away with a long shot that went just wide of the post. Stein then hit the post.

He was played through and from an acute angle he tried to curl it left-footed round Weale, but it struck the post and rebounded to safety. The Daggers thought they had taken the lead soon after though.

Hayzelden got the ball off McGavin and then played a through ball for McGavin. He received it and passed it back across goal first time where Stein made a run from behind the defender to meet it and divert it in, but somehow the linesman ruled offside.

Charlery then had a hat-trick of chances that he should have buried. The first came when he got the ball 20 yards out and volleyed weakly past the post. The next was the best chance of all though.

Hayzelden put a great low cross in and Charlery met it 5 yards out and diverted it wide of the post. Charlery then had a third chance as he was put through and lobbed the ball over the keeper and the bar.

The Daggers seemed to be getting the better of the game, as the Yeovil keeper dropped two corners that the Daggers couldn't capitalise on, before a punch fell to Hayzelden but he lobbed the ball over the bar.

However, towards the end, Yeovil came back into it with two long shots that Roberts saved well and they also hit the post.
