Two Loan Signings
30/11/2002
The Daggers have made two loan signings prior to the away game at Halifax Town. Geoff Pitcher comes in from Brighton after failing to make it into the first team following his move from Kingstonian. He has spent a loan spell at Woking last season and is a central midfield player who likes to get forwards. Also joining is Ireland U21 International John McGrath from Aston Villa who plays on the left of midfield. He has been at Villa since trainee and is now 22.

Cup Draws & Update
18/11/2002
The Daggers will play away to Crawley or Tiverton in the Second Round of the FA Cup after beating Havant & Waterlooville. The two will replay next Tuesday at Crawley for a meeting with the Daggers on 7th December. In the Essex Senior Cup Fourth Round, the Daggers are away to Maldon Town. Meanwhile, Ashley Vickers did indeed make 100 games at Yeovil. Gary Fletcher and Paul Mayo have returned to their clubs after their loan spells at the Daggers.

Ashley Set For Ton-Up
05/11/2002
If selected to play at Yeovil on Saturday, Ashley Vickers will make his 100th appearance in Dagenham & Redbridge colours in competitive fixtures. Ashley made his debut for the Club towards the end of the Ryman League winning season after joining from St Albans for a small fee, at home to Basingstoke Town. Elsewhere, Mark Rooney is a single game short of his half-century. He made his debut in April 2001 at home to Telford United.

Trialist
05/11/2002
After coming on as sub against Kidderminster in the LDV Vans Trophy, Yohance Lewis has made his second senior appearance for the Daggers in the Essex Senior Cup at Grays. Yohance was a product of Charlton's youth academy and was part of the group who visited an army base where a team-mate tragically lost his life. Yohance was released by Charlton in the summer and has also trialled at Colchester. Meanwhile, Tristram Chambers also made his first Daggers appearance against Grays after playing one reserve game this year.

A first team with 7 starting changes from Saturday tonight beat Grays 4-2 after extra time in the Third Round of the Essex Senior Cup at the Rec. Wayne Vaughan gave the home side the lead before Bruce netted a penalty. Sub Stein scored to make it 2-1 but ex-Dagger Jeff Woolsey equalised at the death. In extra time, West scored early and then Janney added a fourth late on.
Daggers line-up: Paul Gothard, Mark Rooney, Ashley Vickers, Mark Smith, Steve West, Danny Hill (Jamie Murat 104mins), Mark Janney, Ollie Berquez (Mark Stein 46mins), Steve Vaughan, Paul Bruce (Yohance Lewis 56mins), Tristram Chambers. Unused subs: Danny Shipp, Tony Roberts.

The Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies have progressed yet again in the FA Cup. After beating Brentwood 18-0, Tottenham Hotspur after extra time and now Tring Athletic, the Daggers Ladies have been drawn at home to Brook House in the Second Round. The game will be played at Victoria Road on Sunday 10th November. Well done to the Ladies for their Cup exploits so far and also their unbeaten run this season.

The reserves drew 3-3 at home to Bedford Reserves last Wednesday. Tristram Chambers and Danny Hill scored to get the draw towards the end after being 3-1 down. Canvey keeper Ashley Harrison and several PASE players played for the Daggers.
