The Daggers went for as near the same line up as at Burton as they could muster, Heffer in for Smith being the only change. West was back on the bench in place of Murat after his suspension.

Trying to avenge last year's 4-0 defeat at Underhill, the Daggers got off to the best possible start with in goal in just over half a minute. Some good play down the left ended when McGrath slipped it behind the full back Fletcher, who crossed low for the onrushing Terry to tap home from inside the six yard box. This left the home side in a state of disarray as they resorted to the long ball as they panicked under the Daggers' pressure.

However, the Daggers didn't create anything to extend their lead in this period, which let Barnet steady the ship and regain control of the game. Agogo somehow volleyed Gower's corner over the bar when unmarked and only 6 yards out. The Daggers' few attacks saw Junior felled by Naisbitt who was well out of his goal albeit near the corner flag, the ref not even deeming it a yellow card offence despite the award of a free kick.

By now Barnet were on top as they played some good football and dominated the midfield with their powerful running. It came as no suprise when they equalised, Heald heading home Gower's cross despite Roberts getting a strong hand to the ball.

In the second half, Barnet again dominated despite not creating too much. However, Roberts did superbly to keep out Purser's header from a corner low to his left. Agogo missed a great chance as he fired wide of the goal from inside the box. The Daggers' cause wasn't helped as Shipp's second yellow for kicking the ball away left the visitors with 10 men. Just as it seemed the Daggers could hold on, it wasn't to be in the last minute of injury time.

A launch down the middle left only Cole back with Agogo. Agogo's unbelievable pace saw him latch onto it and put it through Roberts' legs, the ball taking a ricochet off Robbo's thigh and looping up, coming down just in time to drop under the bar before Vickers could reach it. Despite the last minute goal, Barnet deserved their win and on performances against the Daggers since they came down, it seems hard to believe they are not near the top of the league.
