Position:Midfielder
Signed:Close Season 2001
Danny is a central midfield player who was born in 1974. He started his career at Tottenham, becoming a professional in 1992, playing four Premiership games in the 1992/3 season. This was followed by a further six in the next two seasons. He spent 1995/6 on loan to Birmingham and Watford, playing a combined 6 games. Another two seasons followed at White Hart Lane, but instead of being given more games to help him progress, he was given less, not playing in the first team for two seasons. After a seven game loan spell at Cardiff in 1997/8, he was snapped up by Oxford United. 9 games for them followed, and during the same season he moved again, to Cardiff, this time on a permanent deal. He played 26 games in his first season and 23 the next but many of these were as a sub, but when he played he usually impressed. Danny has superb vision and passing abilities, and has a reputation for being somewhat inconsistent, but when he is on form he can win games. He left Cardiff on a free transfer in the summer of 2001 and joined the Daggers after trialling during pre-season.
