Position:Striker
Signed:Close Season 1998
Danny started out as a youth at West Ham before moving into their reserves. It was widely wondered why Danny wasn't given a first team chance after producing one of the best and most consistent goalscoring records in the Youth and Reserve teams. Danny was sold to Irish club Coleraine for £150,000 in 1996 after being loaned out to the Daggers on two occassions. Danny was loaned out by Coleraine to Glenavon, and it was there that Danny picked up his runners up medal in the Irish Cup Final. Danny was signed on loan by the Daggers in the 1997/98 season, scoring a stunning goal against Peterborough in the FA Cup in his first game, coming on as a sub. At the end of the season the move was made permanent after his contract had expired. Danny has an impressive scoring record.
