Mark is a central defender who can also play at right back. He started off as a forward when joining Stevenage Borough from Woking in the close season of 1992, scoring four on his debut for Boro. Born in 1967, he gradually moved backwards through the team and made the central defensive position his own. He won their Player of the Year award several times, including the 2000/01 season. Mark has played for the England Semi-Pro team several times and after nine years at Broadhall Way, he rejected their offer of a new contract and joined the Daggers on a free transfer.
