NEW!

£3M FOR HARRIS IS NOT ENOUGH TO GET US IN A GOOD QUALITY YOUNG REPLACEMENT AS I DONT BELIEVE MARK WOULD GET ALL THE MONEY TO SPEND. RobertPayne@btinternet.com

*The latest news, as printed in SPORTFIRST on Sunday, was that Spurs are preparing to offer 5 million! However, later in th paper they also claim that Mancheser United and Coventry ar also interestd! MG

What about Millwall or wigan? I can't see anyone else winning the championship. It's interesting to note wigans "loss" record to date which is better than Millwalls though we only trail by one point of course. wigan appear to be following last years record of not losing early games and doing very well away. Millwall are an improved item this year and have back-ups in most positions. oldham away this saturday will be a benchmark. this is a game that Millwall would typically lose at this stage of the season....a draw or 3 points would consolidate our position. wigan will go through a bad spell at home soon...hopefully...just like the latter part of last season when they started dropping points all over the place. lets hope for everyone's sake Millwall don't get involved in the play-offs...we all know what that will mean. My prediction-for what it's worth-...Champions-Millwall...runners-up-wigan. play-offs-stoke/bristol city/oldham/rotherham. Nick from England

Robbie Ryan getting the winner at Oldham??? No, I can't see that happening either!! A 1-0 win will do there with a 90th minute goal from Moods. If that prediction come true then I should take this up professionally!!
Bill.

Well I'm not taking any chances...I laughed at your Reid prediction...this time it's £10 on Moody to get the winner...Ryan? OK £5 on him then!! MG

3 million for Harris? well that's good money for a div 2 player and a handsome return on what we paid for him. BUT we're told we don't need to sell. personally, I don't think Millwall will get promoted without him, and hopefully those in authority at Millwall will know that. Traditionally, we've cashed in....bought a journeyman...and paid the price. Let's hope for everyone's sake common sense will prevail. Harris is happy at Millwall, has signed a long contract, and is an integral part of the team. is Theo as committed as everyone else in getting Millwall out of div 2 this year? It's a very tough division to get out of...lets see if "money" doesn't buy everything. nickfromengland@aol.com

I would hate to see Harris go...if Cherno is worth £1.5 Million at 15, then "Bomber" has got to be worth £4 million of anyone's money! But I would rather not see it go to that! MG

Mike,
just another thing, do you have any back issues (and I don't mean a slight lower disc pain first thing in the morning) as I have a few TFSF missing? Reidy will probably get the winner tomorrow night now! 21 November 2000 Bill Henderson

Yes I have back Issues...drop me a line and I'll get a list to you. Reid to get the winner? Wow have you been drinking/smoking or snorting?!!! MG

Leicester City, Manchester United and Coventry are reported to be sniffing around Bomber Harris...the fee
mentioned is around £3 million, Tottenham, according to First Sport, are interested in Bomber at £5 Million! So should Theo consider these deals or what?

FIFA are due to honour 'The greatest playr of all time', and it appears that Maradonna is the favourite to get the award, even tho (in OUR opinion) he isn't fit to wipe Pele's Boots! So should Diego th druggie be given this prestigeous award or sould he be left to stew in his own little world?

Maggie hs obviously done 'not bd' since aking over, but has he convinced YOU yet?
