Discourse on the Companion

      59. (The deva said:)

      "What is the companion of a being?

      What admonishes him?

      Delighting in what, is a being free from all forms of dukkha?"

      (The Bhagava said:)

      "Religious conviction is the companion of a being.

      Wisdom admonishes him.

      Delighting in Nibbana, a being is free from all forms of dukkha."
