| Janine
was the first person I met at Nene College, Northampton. My
parents had just dropped me off and in a desperation to keep
myself busy, I ended up helping Janine and her dad unload their
car. |
|
I was
absolutely amazed by the amount of stuff Janine took to uni.
She
had ten times as much as anyone else!
Janine
and I soon became very good friends.
We
shared the same hall in our first year at Nene and lived together
in our third and fourth years.

Some
of my best uni memories involve Janine. She used to have one
Diamond White cider and be absolutely trollied!
"Friday
night, Sat'dy dinner."
On
one occasion, after the obligatory Diamond White, she pressed
the help button in the hall, after which we all had to run
to our rooms and hide from the warden!
Another
treasured memory was the potato, pube collage and tit print
evening. After eating our jacket potatoes, we preceded to
make a pube collage. This in turn led to stripping off our
tops, painting our breasts and making boob prints! I have
the photos to prove this, and we weren't even drunk!

If
I remember correctly, Janine painted her left breast in a
black and green striped design and labelled it: "Janine's
stripey salacious seductive nipple."
On
another occasion, Janine, Helen and I borrowed a "teach
yourself cha cha" tape from the library. We
practiced in the lounge, wearing saucy bras and knickers and
stilettos!

Janine
and Helen put three-quarter-length macs on and I locked them
outside!
On
yet another occasion, our heating broke down in the middle
of winter and when the man came to mend the boiler (after
lying that we'd got a baby in the house so they'd hurry) Janine
put on a bright yellow dress from the 50s and pranced around
the house to Victor Silvester tunes!

|
After
a catalogue of unworthy gentleman callers, Helen told Janine
to raise her standards, after
which (thank goodness), she got it together with Tim.
During
our fourth year, Janine and I had the misfortune to rent another
house from a Mrs Jeffries, the Landlady from Hell.
Janine...
did you pretend to be Guy?

Since
graduating, Janine and I have continued to be excellent friends.
Janine has been of great support to me, very loyal, caring
and fun (always a pleasure, never a chore).
All
the best to Tim and Janine for a happy and fruitful life together.
Have a nice time, nice time, nice time!
