Shootout - Wrecks
Just on 70 drivers turned out for this meeting which is to become an annual event for unlimited bangers. Material mainly in the form of Jags, P5s and a smatering of Yanks.

Three heats and a consolation sorted out the final entry with a DD rounding off the day

The heats were won by Andy Davies (47), John Randall (207) and Neal Wells (420). Simon Warner (129) took the consolation ahead of his brother Joe (128). The final was won by Jason Jackson (331) from Dean Bateman (130) and Paul Ehiteman (10). The Rawlins was won again by Jackson (331) with Tony Wade (33) and Bateman (130) being awarded the win in the DD.


787, Steve Brookman took an early exit in heat 1.


405, Mark Blackweii's 4R took a pounding.


19, Dave Edwards' DS420 Hearse only lasted the one heat.


707, Steve Harrison took a masive T-bone from 588, Paul Jones yank.


93, Rob Chiddle was done by Craig Hewitt (348).


Hewitt's yank tank didn't survive its attack on Harrison.


117, Tony Green was jacked by 500, Bill Wenham's Oldsmobile.


348 - Sonny Sherwood - XJ6


Andy Davies' blitz on Gerry Ansell (184) left it totally wrecked.


Sonny Sherwood (348) had the usual problem with the Condoms.


Despite his roll Jason Randall (235) was still able to drive the Amazon.


Jimmy Randall (208) had fun in his XJ6.


Mark Marchant (592) managed to keep the ancient Humber going for quiet a while.


471, Terry Freakes made his Mk2 last into the DD.


203, Darren Nash's Crown was well done in the DD.


The 371 car was done in the DD by 61, Danny Reid's Lincoln.


Phil Rainsford (499) was putting his estate around all afternoon.


Where is everyone!
