Arlington Championship
Only 20 cars raced for at used yo be a very popular event. Mk2 Granadas all the way again with the exception of a used Mk1 for Richard Flockton, used Volvo 740 from Ralphie and Jeremy Jones (817) Mk5 Cortina..

The Championship race was up first and was won by Neil Osbourne (28) from Lee Hughes (294) and Colin Farley (7). Race two went to Mark Welland (264), while the ten lap dash was won by Dale Fairless (141) with Sonny Sherwood (348) taking the DD.

Welland (264) spins out Poulter (152)

Visitor Warner (129) was always going to have a tough time.

Osbourne (28) removes Hunt (528).


Kingy (206) ends Simon Warner's racing.

and Wilde (4) does the same to Kingy (206).

somewhat blocking the racing line.


Farley (7) chases Dale Hughes (27) round the armco.

Wood (72) delivers a T-bone to Flockton (670).

Hughes (27) is chased down by Welland (264).


who in turn is pursued by Sherwood (348)

Wood (72) is well done in the DD.

129, Simon Warner

France (245) was well jacked.

817, Jones' Mk 5 couldn't take the heat.


Also well jacked is Wood (72).

Flockton (670) had his wish to finish off his Mk1.

No luck at all for Ralphie (888).
