National Team Championship - Action
5 heats, 2 semi-finals and 3 finals provided large fields of cars and plenty of action all round the track. There were heat wins for
Keith Painter (46), John Worstencroft (51), Trevor Luff (777), John Healy (465) and Nick Sweet (817). The semi-finals went to Worstencroft (51) and Andy Davies (47). The B Final had to be split into 2 as over 70 cars appeared for it, Davey Cox (119) took part 1 while Buster Godden (262) won part 2. The A final was won by James Medley (920) for the Wild Boys which gave them the Team victory from T-Bone and Fen Tigers.

Home straight chaos as the Capris and Cortinas sort thmselves out.

Cross (575) was totalled by Dave Walker (651).
Darryl Whalley (201) was put into a roll by David Kingston (62).
resulting in Whalley (201) ended up inverted.

Fiddler (162) then comes under attack from Leon Pelc (150).
Dave Kingston (62) takes Ian Smith (831) into the armco.
Edward Fothergill (82) rolls as the lively Wayne Davies (96) passes.
Stuart Phillips (342) dishes out a tail lifter to Ian Taylor (32).
Shaun Russell (112) gets it sideways and
goes for a spot of grass tracking
without rolling it this time.
Rob Burbridge (18), Andy Curbishley (165) and John Wibberley (252) make live difficult for a Coventry Avenger.
