Ivor Dryer Memorial - On Track & Wrecks
Over Over 60 unlimited bangers attended the second annual memorial meeting. Though there were some returns, there was plenty of fresh material including the first convertable to be raced in the form of Tim Dray's Caddy Coupe de Ville. Pat McPhillimy (425) took the award for smartest car with his Datsun 280c, while best entertainer was Jason Thompson (169).



Real Steel start as normal as the hearse of Brian Cope (303) heads off.


Tim Dray (728) negotiates the stranded the limo of Glyn Weedon (419).


Mark Harding (784) gives 288 the bone.


Harding (784) and Jason Thompsom (169) destroy Brett Perry (787).


Thompson (169) went on to destroy the hearse of Cope (303).


Dave O'Sullivan (2) attacks Richard Giddens (160).


15 takes Mark Mitchell (537) into the Fleetwood of Glenn Alexander (496).


Who'd be a marshall? Alexander (496) hits Paul Gumm (106).


Elliott Finnie (787) turned it around to attack Alexander (496).


O'Sullivan (2) is sent towards the armco by 578.


Thompson (169) takes James Ludlow (141) over the back wheel.


Car 26 heads for the infield thanks to 311.

Ludlow's Senator (141) proved a little too new and fell apart.


294 car after its blitzing.


Regan (428) ended the racing for the 88 Jag.


Another jacked Mk2 for 188 this time.


Thompson (169) was finally caught.


but not before inflicting damagae on Harwood (426).


Gidden's jacked Mk2 (160).


Finnie (787) came off worse after taking on Alexander (496).


The Chrysler Newport didn't make the final for Harding (784).
