The first mid-week meeting at St. Columb attracted only 14 drivers including 3 visitors Steve Santry (368), Phil Martin (441) and from Scotland Peter Hunter (8) all chasing Track Championship points for the World Final. There were heat wins for Andrew Lomas (144) and Phil Morgan (001), while Lomas took the final from Morgan and Eddie Darby (677).

Martin (441) out of shape as Calvert (224) dives through.

Martin (441) by his own admission was off the pace all evening.


Final winner Lomas (144) with Morgan (001) on his right and Darby (677).
