Cooking Apples
Oil or fat for frying
Caster Sugar
(1) Peel, core apples and cut into rings.
(2) Coat rings with batter and deep fry in the oil heated to 180C, 350F cook both sides until golden brown.
(3) Drain on absorbent paper, toss in caster sugar and serve hot.
Try coating pineapple rings, sliced bananas or pear wedges as an alternative.
