Makes 20
225g (8oz) Self Raising Flour
100g (4oz) Caster Sugar
3x1.5ml spoons (3tbsp) Cocoa Powder
100g (4oz) Margarine
5x15ml spoons (5tbsp) milk
few drops vanilla essence
Chocolate glace icing
Grated Chocolate
(1) Heat oven to 375C, 190F, Gas mark 5. Grease two baking trays.
(2) Mix the flour, sugar and cocoa in a bowl and rub in the margarine.
(3) Add the milk and essence and mix in well. Bring together with your hands and knead lightly on a floured surface.
(4) Roll out to 0.5cm (1/4inch) thick and cut into rounds usind a 7.5cm (3inch) cutter. Place on the baking trays and bake for around 8-10 minutes. Remove from the baking tray and cool on a wire rack. Decorate with glace icing and chocolate.
