Makes 12

100g (4oz) short pastry.
Jam or lemon curd.

(1) Heat oven to 200C, 400F, gas mark 6. Roll out pastry thinly. Cut into rounds using a 7.5cm (3 inch) cutter and line 12 patty tins.

(2) Put a little jam or lemon curd in each, do not over fill. Bake for about 15 minutes.

(3) If liked, fill with a little extra jam or lemon curd when cooked.
