Makes 18
175g (6oz) short pastry
Filling
225g (8oz) cottage cheese or curd.
50g (2oz) sugar.
50g (2oz) currants.
1 egg, size 3
40g (1.5oz) margarine, melted.
pinch each, cinnamon and nutmeg.
(1) Heat oven to 220C, 425F, gas mark7. Roll out thinly, cut into rounds using a 7.5 cm (3inch) cutter and line 18 patty tins with the pastry.
(2) Mix together the filling ingredients and fill the pastry cases. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
