Basic Sponge Sandwich mixture

Jam and whipped cream

(1) Heat oven to 200C, 400F, gas mark 6. Grease a baking tray.

(2) Place small spoonfuls, well apart, on the baking tray and bake for about 5 minutes.

(3) When cold, sandwich together with jam or cream.
