Use Pouring Batter
15g (1/2oz) dripping or lard
(1) Heat oven 230C, 450F, gas mark 8.
(2) Heat oil or fat in shallow tin or 12 patty tins. Place in oven until haze appears.
(3) Pour all the batter into the tin, or almost fill patty tins. Bake for about 30 minutes for a large pudding or 20 minutes for the small ones.
