Released: in October Reading Time: 4-5 hours to fully digest...
I ordered this book within 24 hours of it being available for a preview-order. I'll tell you now that it is a classy production with wonderful photographs in the centre of the book and the information being well sub-divided between his "adventures". There is a lot more to this production as I hope you will agree with me.

Koenig writes well but the first thing that you will encounter is two pages full of musings on Koenig by JMS (guess who he is!!!). He builds it up quite well but is ultimately insufficent. This book is a work of art. It outdoes William Shatner's Movie Memories on both accuracy and quality of writing. Koenig never focuses on his acting - he focuses on what created the characters. Reading back on his life you can see that he has made several mistakes in his life - hopefully I can learn from them but the most powerful stuff is about racism and running away from homicidal ex-lovers (DON'T ask - just read...). I won't spoil it for you - it would make the book a lot less fun to read.
Back to Koenig's writing style. Koenig uses humour brilliantly to illustrate his points - this sets itself aside from the OTHER autobiographies. He also writes well and yet he says that he is an awful writer (he didn't co-write it...).
A few startling revelations are made about Koenig - many of them I would never have thought of. His mind is always focused on points and never wanders from his goal - to critically assess his life. He does well. To quickly sum up this book (it's getting late):
Rating: 10/10 - This may sound stupid but this is one of the best books that I have ever read
