AUDION MAGAZINE
A unique voice, exploring adventurous music that others ignore! Audion Magazine (established in 1986) has a reputation for its different stance on modern music, ever willing to embrace the unusual, and seek-out those that have helped shape the face of new-music, from rock/folk/jazz through to the avant-garde. Audion doesn't adhere to trends or fashion, it exists purely for the love of the music.
So, if you're into anything musically progressive or unusual, you are sure to find Audion essential reading! And, of course, if you're into Krautrock, genuine progressive, and the music the mainstream and general alternative press ignore - this is the place!

AUDION MAGAZINE
Copyrighted as serial no. ISSN 0958-0972 with the British Library. Excepting promotional use, permission should be sought from the editor to reprint articles, reviews, graphics, etc. All extracts published should always quote the writer and Audion as the source.
CONTENT
Every endeavour is made to ensure information within Audion is correct and that all contacts are reputable, but we cannot accept liability for any consequence in reading Audion. Opinions and criticisms given are those of the writer, not necessarily that of Audion or any of its agents.
CONTRIBUTORS
Audion is a break-even project, so we cannot pay writers. We don't even pay ourselves! All contributors get a free copy. Audion is published using standard PC's running Windows 98 and XP and is now printed in-house on the shop copy machine. We prefer all articles and reviews to be submitted as text files, as typing in written reviews and articles is quite time consuming. The preferred supply method nowadays is via e-mail, and we also ask you to copy and paste your text into an email and send it to us in "plain text" format rather than as an attachment, which solves most conversion problems. Text encoding should be "Western European" (Windows or ISO format) with standard (not smart) quotes. Pictures are best supplied as greyscale 150dpi jpg files. Observing these rules makes our job less time consuming. It is often best to check with us first before writing a review or article. Audion reserves the right to refuse to print anything we feel is not within our scope, or for any other reason.
PROMOTION
Review copies of releases (records, CD's, cassettes, videos etc.), news bulletins, concert details, magazines, etc., are always welcome. If you do supply a promo, don't expect an immediate response, as it can take time to sort through piles of review items. If what we receive is within Audion's realm, it will be reviewed.
It is best to send review items to: Audion Magazine, PO Box 225, Leicester, LE2 1DX, England.
DISCLAIMER
Audion and Ultima Thule are nothing to do with any other businesses or individuals using the same or similar names. Any similarities are purely coincidental! Views raised in Audion may not be those of the publishers, and any criticism should be treated as the personal opinion of the writer, contributor or interviewee concerned. All cover pictures on this page are for illustrative purposes only, and may not always be accurately representative of the current published edition (especially so with reprints and issues #41+).
