Here is a summary of the races scheduled for 2005. Full details may be found in the Upnor Sailing Club Notice of Races Sailing Instructions Part I and Part II, which are posted on the notice board in the Clubhouse. 'Fun' events are well publicised in the Mainsheet.

* Portsmouth Yardstick numbers can be found on the RYA Website (search for - yardstick) if your vessel is not listed the Race Captain will issue you with a provisional handicap number.


Racing at USC is a pleasant means of honing one's sailing skills in a spirit of friendly rivalry. Many skippers are keen to recruit new crew members and a great deal can be learned by sailing with an experienced racing skipper. Either contact them directly or place an advertisement on the Crewing page or in the Mainsheet.


There are also a number of 'Fun' Races.
Prizes and Trophies are at stake.
