18/06/06 (Sun) Return to Upnor and Ladies Race
Yes it is this weekend. Saturday 17th June looks set to be fine for this cruise.
We have booked the concrete barge so that we can all meet up for a social barbecue. Bring some food and drink. We will have some charcoal for the fireplace there which you can use. Some may want their own portable barbecue so feel free.
Some may wish to moor against the barge and raft out. I think we are allowed to have up to two rafted out. The cost is £8 per night.
On the next day 18th June it is the ladies race back to Upnor. Hubba knows the rules but I believe you can have what crew you like as long as the helm is undertaken by a female. May the best girl win.
