07/05/06 (Sun) Wreckers Race - 10.00 start USC - Results
A Club fun race from the USC line to the Bulwark buoy and back, open to all USC yachts.
04/06/06 (Sun) Round the Island Race - Results
A Club fun race from the USC line to a transit in line with the Concrete Barge at Queenborough. Start when you like on the day of the race and go which ever way around the Isle of Sheppey that suits you. Record your boat's time on the special form available from the Clubhouse or Race Captain.
A Club Barbecue takes place in the evening.
18/06/06 (Sun) Ladies Race - Results - deferred until a later date, probably 13th August
A Club event open to USC yachts skippered & helmed entirely by a lady. (Female impersonators will be disqualified.) The Course is from Queenborough Spit Buoy to the USC line. Crew to be allocated on the day. Start Time 10am.
12/07/06 (Wed) Medway Regatta Evening Race - Barbecue at the Clubhouse
An Open event hosted by USC from the Club line, and run by the Medway Regatta 2006 committee, on Wednesday 12th July.
Start times - TBA
Courses will be given with registration forms.
The race is followed by a Barbecue at the Clubhouse.
This is NOT part of the Upnor Sailing Club Wednesday Evening Series of races.
06/08/06 (Sun) Passage Race on return from Brightlingsea - Results
A Club fun race, this year from Brightlingsea to the USC line. Start when you like on race day and record your boat's time on the special form available from the Clubhouse or Race Captain.
This popular weekend event is an ideal opportunity for less experienced crews to make a day passage in company.
20/08/06 (Sun) Single-Handed Race - 11.00 start USC - Results
A Club event open to all USC yachts. Start from the USC Line at 11.00 am.
The use of auto-pilots is allowed, and a second person may be on board for safety reasons, but he/she must take no part in the sailing of the yacht (including sitting out and offering 'advice' to the skipper).
