Burnham is an interesting town with plenty of maritime and yachting heritage, considered by some to be the Cowes of the East Coast.
Berths are arranged at Burnham Yacht Harbour with a modest discount for USC.
The venue for the Club meal has been moved to the Ship Inn on the High Street. They have a varied menu including vegetarian, are reasonably priced and from previous experience the quality is excellent.
A rough passage plan might be:
Saturday 26th. Leave Upnor at HW-ish 07:15, LW at Whitaker Beacon is 12:45
Arrive Burnham Yacht Harbour mid-afternoon.
Sunday 27th. Depart Burnham late morning. LW at Whitaker Beacon is 13:48
Arrive Upnor 20:00 -ish.
