1-3 Pier Place, Lower Upnor, Rochester, Kent ME2 4UY Tool Bank This page gives members access to tools that are not usually held in the average do-it-yourself tool kit. Listed below are specialist tools for loan only to other Upnor Sailing Club members and a deposit is required to ensure their safe return. If you wish to borrow a tool contact the owner and make your arrangements with them. Their contact details can be found in the Club Sailing Programme and Membership List.
If you are offering tools, make your deposit amount higher than the value of the tool. This will cover you if, for instance, it gets dropped overboard and will save arguments later. Don't forget that you will have to go out and buy a new one. If you have anything that you are prepared to make available please advise the webmaster.
If you are borrowing tools you WILL lose your deposit if tools are lost, broken or not returned. If you think the deposit is unfair, buy your own tools, after all it's only going to cost you if you don't return the tool in the same condition as it was lent to you.
General Disclaimer about this self-help scheme: The Club is not responsible for anything at all. It's up to you.
