Samuel Bond

Special Agent Samuel Bond

The other original member of the team and the only original member who has served continually within the unit since it was established. Back then Agent McWilliams was the unit leader and Agent Harcourt was second. Bond had been transferred from Phoenix where he was working in the Specialist Computer Crimes Division and had been for six years. Since then Bond has taken the role of McWilliams, not through choice but he is now the senior within the unit.

They are out there, Shapeshifters, Bloodsuckers and Ghosts. It's another world within our own, where evil has a different face. Doesn't it?

Notes from Special Agent Jason Knight
Comes across as a competent if not very laid back leader of the team he has been assigned. The murder of his wife and disappearance of his daughter have tainted his outlook on life. However he managed to overcome this trauma through a religious pursuit, probably inspired by his own father. It is unfortunate that his term in the F.B.I has turned him against the faith that got him through the difficult times of his life.

Bond expresses a preference to see the people below him act as a well organised team. However he seems reluctant to offer any real leadership to the team building he expects. This resting on his laurels / laid back attitude will unfortunately see more solo agents under his command get restless and more likely make bad judgement calls in difficult situations.

Agent Bond would benefit greatly from a series of leadership courses. Mainly based on the fact that he has been thrown into his position of responsibility. As to his competence as a leader, I would be happy to say that he is a likeable man with the appropriate skills needed for the task. It should only be noted that these skills need fine tuning in both the class and field.

Bonds mental state through the traumas the team has faced has weathered well. His faith has suffered in both his religion and (as is seen in many agents) the agency itself. An infrequent psychological assessment would be helpful to assure the continued good mental health of this agent.
