Francis Carter

Special Agent Carter

is one of the youngest in the team, graduating straight from Quantaco this team is his first assignment (at his own request). He likes big guns, being first and not losing. In his job he wants to be involved in everything and do everything and treats the cases he is on as his own. His standing within the team took a knock when he managed to get mugged right outside the J Edgar Hoover Building, claiming to have shot his assailant it would seem apparent that he unload a full clip and missed every time from point blank range. Since this he has taken to trying to prove his gun totting skills to the rest of the team at every opportunity.

He has now entrusted the rest of the team with some of the more personal side of himself. Since he can remember he has been taught the way of the church and how to deal with the bloodsucking evil that stalks the streets of DC. This was met with some scepticism from some members of the team. Others (mainly Gent) would not have partially believed it unless they had seen it for themselves.

The mugging outside the FBI building has now been clarified as a vampire attack, which he is lucky to have been able to walk away from.

Vampires are evil and despised by the church thats why we hunt them. Werewolves are people possesed by evil spirits who then kidnap children.

Notes from Special Agent Jason Knight
Comes across (as do most new agents) as head strong and full of zeal. Unfortunately Carter does seem to lack the unquestioning discipline of most new agents and this trend I can only see as blooming into the individual actions more fitting that of a private investigator. Carter is a very insular person and at the end of a conversation, you feel more aware of what he did not say than of what he did. It is due to this personality trait that I have had to base most of my findings on Carter's actions rather than his outpourings.

It is greatly apparent that Carter's loyalties are first and foremost to himself, then his religion and then finally if at all to the agency. To his credit, Carter is a very good investigator and his single mindness is possibly the one trait that has seen the team actually sticking to the cases and tasks assigned them. With very little effort it would be possible to guide Carter into a position above that of a field agent.

Agent Carter it seems would benefit greatly from a regular dressing down from his superiors. Unfortunately this is unlikely to happen with the team he is presently in and for this reason I recommend that a higher authority looks seriously at the matter of Carter's discipline. His loose cannon attitude is a danger mainly to himself and secondly to the agents around him. Whilst this attitude may not be a serious risk in day to day activities of the group it will a dangerous concern to all in the unfortunate violent situations the group may find itself in.

Carter's mental state is as stable as can be expected, considering the strict and unorthodox upbringing he has been privy too. I would suggest that Carter receive regular psychological treatment, as I believe he has many unresolved issues. However I also believe he would never attend or take seriously an agency appointed psychotherapist. I recommend the agency set aside funds for Agent Carter to see an outside therapist until he is ready for the agencies psychology department.
