Special Agent James McArthur

The only other Agent to be apart of the initial team, McArthur's presence though has not been a permanent fixture. He has had absences due unnatural phenomena's, bombings, attempted assassinations and time out while he pulled himself together.

A demon pool shark, McArthur has an undeserved reputation for being a troublemaker. To some degree this is true, but for the ex New York cop trouble tends to find him rather than him causing trouble. For those who have earned his trust or of those he wants to earn their trust, McArthur will do anything for and prove to be a great comrade. But sometimes in his eagerness to do the right thing, it only goes completely wrong. In his own way he still thinks he is doing right but to everyone else he looks like a complete madman who the FBI should have sectioned years ago.

The latest McArthurism ended on Capital Hill with a failed attempted assassination on him. This was after he had left his team in Los Angeles, flown back to Washington D.C, broken into Agent Angels house and not found what he had been looking for. He than went back to her house when Angel returned from L.A after she had received a call that her house had been broken into. She handed over the evidence he was after to give to someone else, luckily she gave him the stuff he was after as he was prepared to take it forcibly (or was it lucky for him?) He was then caught by the extra security Bond had arranged for Holly while she was back in D.C and beaten to a pulp. He then went to meet his Mr X on Capital Hill who was shot by the same assassin who failed to finish of McArthur.

The reason for all this, somebody had threatened to kill the whole unit if McArthur did not find all the evidence relating to the Genetically altered Pig they had stumbled across in South Carolina. So in the only way McArthur knows he wanted to sort the problem out alone and save his chums. Now he looks like a complete nut ball to everyone except Bond who knows the truth and Angel who knows the truth but does not like him because he ruined her carpets when he first broke in. The Assistant Director also knows the truth as Bond told him to try and stop McArthur being thrown out of the FBI.

Finally returning after the assassination attempt, McArthur knows he has a lot to do to regain the trust of his fellow team mates. He has the ideal opportunity to start this building when he goes to New York with Agent Angel.
