The FBI were called in to assist the Local PD after a series of murders within DC. Each case had the same MO where the killing was ritualistic and the victims had been eventually killed by a wooden stake driven through the upper torso.

Eventually the killer was caught and detained. Although he is going through a series of psychiatric evaluations as he believed the people he killed were vampires.
