Le Domaine de Tamasea is located between Seillans and Bargemon in the Haut Var. The south facing property is situated at 600 metres (2000 ft) and has spectacular and unspoilt views.

The nearest village, Seillans (5 Kms) is classed as one of the ‘plus beaux villages de France’ and was the home of the painter / sculptor Max Ernst. It and Bargemon (8 Kms) have restaurants and shops, including small supermarkets. There is tennis at Seillans and Fayence and two designer golf courses at the Four Seasons Hotel in Tourrettes (15 Kms) – click here for golf info - Four Seasons Hotel. Fayence has an airport for small planes and is a well-known centre for gliding and microlights. There is also an excellent market three days a week in Fayence.

The nearest beaches are at St Raphael (45 minutes). St Tropez, with its shops, celebrities, picturesque port and wonderful beaches is approximately one hour by car – traffic permitting.

From the house itself, you can walk for hours on forest tracks without meeting anyone. Well marked randonnés (footpaths) abound throughout the area.
