Here's some more stuff which you wouldn't normally see:
A website dedicated to the teaching of Biology, including a full set of teaching/learning notes for GCSE Biology (Key Stage 4 of the UK National Curriculum), with HTML and Javascript additions to hopefully extend the relevance of the material and its in-line questioning approach to web-based self-supported study. Graphics animations and rollover effects should complement the extensive use of graphics. Some units include photos of experimental results obtained in my lab in order to illuminate a comprehensive network of content-rich text-based material. The unit topics, which are well linked, can be used in a linear sequence and permit progressive acquisition of knowledge and understanding. Some general and some syllabus-specific reference material is included so as to provide background information about expected standards. Used as a whole or as a reference source, the level at which it is pitched is meant to be intellectually challenging but supportive when taken as whole. A section of pupils' howlers for light relief may cause users to smile, and re-examine the learning process. The site is subject to continuous updating and welcomes feedback and suggestions.
