Formed the group Cindy & The Saffrons which was made up of Joanne Whalley as "Cindy" and Lindsay Neil and Sally Stairs as The Saffrons. In 1982 at Abbey Road Studios they recorded the Shangri-Las song "Past, Present and Future" and the next year, "Terry" by Twinkle. The group split up soon thereafter and Joanne went on to become an actress
