Desired a lie-in, but the "fridge" makes this impossible, so we're up and about trying to get our body temperatures closer to normal...

With time on our hands before our train to Oruro we were able to prepare for the trip...

The bus from Oruro took almost 4 hours passing stunning Andean mountains and finally descending from the Alto Plano in to the canyon sheltering La Paz...
Day 62: Thursday, 25th May 2000
We walked up one side of the canyon concealing La Paz through the markets and street vendors...
Day 63: Friday, 26th May 2000
Our chore of the day is to walk across the city to the Bus Station to purchase our tour tickets to Tiahuanacu...
Day 64: Saturday, 27th May 2000
The Tiahuanacu tour bus is on time and we greet our fellow tourists...
Day 65: Sunday, 28th May 2000
Today is what I will call a good Lord day - appropriate for a Sunday...

A travel day, we're off to Copacabana - nope, not that infamous Rio beach, but a small town on the shore of Lake Titikaka...
