After a warmer night we woke feeling more human than yesterday and left Crater Lake early to make tracks north - we have 2 days to get to Vancouver. The day was quite uneventful as we drove on the interstate - quicker, but boring as hell, up through Oregon and over the river border into Washington. By 5pm we had arrived at our intended destination: Longview and decided to call it a day. Checking into a Motel 6 - luxury respite from our camping - I needed to get the web journal up to date before Claire's handwritten version returns with my Mum and Dad, so I spent some time tapping away on my little baby.
Claire took herself off to a local mall, under the pretence of looking for a roadmap of western Canada - she's sooo sneaky. After a dissapointing "Denny's" for dinner - we reckon we could cook better food on our campstove - we caught up on our emails, spruced ourselves up for meeting my Mum and Dad tomorrow and watched T.V. until the early hours of the morning - it may be trashy but its addictive.
