It was good to have a night's respite from camping at the motel, we'd watched Frasier, had a undisturbed night's sleep and so woke feeling a little more recharged in the morning - we have both been feeling a little low and lethargic, we think this comes from continually being on the road covering large distances and the hassle of constantly setting up camp every night and then packing it all away in the morning. The morning road took us east from Toledo to the shores of Lake Erie, we followed the shoreline for a couple of hours, though we didn't often get to see the lake due to exclusive development of the shore. We managed to find a spot on its shores for lunch where we had the beach to ourselves and views of Detroit in the distance. More driving in the afternoon through rolling countryside until we reached our final destination of Salem (not the one of the witchhunts) found a nice campground on a lakeside which we had virtually to ourselves. Early night.
